Round arbor for wedding ceremony decorated with lush greens and white flowers.

Circle of Love (arbor)

The circle arbor creates a perfect ceremony ( and later a great cake backdrop) setting for this outdoor summer wedding at The Allan House. Located in the heart of Austin, a charming courtyard for both the ceremony and reception. Loved the sweet flower crowns for the bridesmaids along with the lush foliages and blush blooms.

Lush greenery at Canyonwood Ridge

Blush. Greenery. A combination that appears in many different ways. I loved the  black bridesmaids dresses, they created the perfect backdrop  for the textures and blooms. Even though it was a rainy afternoon, the chapel’s design featuring cascading greenery from the chandeliers and candles creating a romantic atmosphere for this sweet couple.  And that cute dog stole the show with the floral collar and lots of attitude !  Photos: aprilmaecreative

A winter reception filled with lights

Winter wedding receptions. Our Central Texas weather can create challenges or provide absolute perfection.

Lucky for us, The Allan House provides a beautiful clear tent for the winter season! We loved the way this soft gold and white reception came together.  Lush white florals- all of our favorites, especially those amaryllis… Paired with tables  of  glowing candles.  Megan from Pearl Events

pulled together all of the details ( those gatsby linens 🙂

Ranch Chic in the fall.

Outdoor weddings in Central Texas are outrageously popular– and it is no surprise! We have sooo  many options- here is one of our favorites- Pecan Springs Ranch.  It has several options for ceremony sites and options for the reception also.  This November bride opted for the outdoor fireplace with al fresco dining and dancing in the main building!  I loved getting these photos because we never met prior to the wedding– a phone call, a pinterest board and away we went! All of the loveliness captured by Angela King – and high fives to great November weather !!Outdoor portrait at Pecan Springs Ranch. All white bridal bouquet for outdoor wedding.Small white blooms for brides hairflowers.Bouquets of white blooms for bridesmaids.Feathers and berries for boutonniere.Outdoor ceremony at Pecan Springs Ranch fireplaceSilver dollar eucalyptus garland for chairs at outdoor ceremony.Outdoor ceremony with greenery garland decor and hydrangea wreath.Beer burros at wedding reception.Nearly naked wedding cake with greenery accents.

Leafy Paradise on an Austin rooftop

Brazos Hall  has become one of Austin’s favorite venues to host weddings and events. With its urban interior and rooftop space, it lends itself to soo many types of decor.  This April 2016 event ranks high on our list of favorites.  Featured in Brides of Austin, with so many thoughtful details, it photographed as gorgeous as it was in person.  Desert inspired elements included hundreds of tillandsias, grapewood, aloe and agave plants along with an added twist of monstera leaves.  The dark green leaves created a modern vibe for a traditional event.  We had an awesome time working with Jenn from Pearl Events

and Two Pair Photography provided these amazing images.  The venue: Brazos Hall, the food, Royal Fig Catering.

Enjoy!

Luxurious Head table in Omni Barton Creek ballroom.

Floral filled spring wedding.

When a client loves flowers almost as much as we do, you know it is going to be a  floral filled  affair.  Last spring, we were lucky enough to add this gorgeous event to our portfolio.  A classic bride, one of our favorite venues and a dream team of vendors helped this one go off without a hitch.  The ceremony featured a 9 foot cross covered in white hydrangea, while the aisle was highlighted with a foliage and orchid draped chandelier.  The Pavillion at Omni Barton Creek was also draped exquisitely by the team at Unique Designs.  The reception then moved into the DKR ballroom in the resort.  From the amazing cocktail hour to the festive reception, it was all an amazing event.  All the photos by  Jenny Demarco.

Every single detail was pulled together by Becky at Pearl Events.

We  are sad to see the Pavillion being relocated during Omni Barton Creeks renovations, but can’t wait for the new space to create something equally as gorgeous..coming soon!

Simple Southern Summer wedding

Summer weddings.  This southern soiree at The Plantation House was filled with sweet smelling peonies  and the most delicious looking popcorn bar. Two of my personal favorites!  The mock orange blossoms on the gazebo ended up being one of the favorite gazebo decors to date. Mock orange is one of those elements that is in season for about 7 minutes, so when we are lucky enough to find in our suppliers inventory  and had a perfect place for it- score and score!

Colorful Canyonwood Ridge Reception.

We love a spring wedding bursting with color.  When we hear, I love color, we get giddy with the  possibilities.  Add in a little Texas flair , the gorgeous new venue, Canyonwood Ridge and it is a feast for your eyes!  We particularly loved the amazing coral peonies, the lush juliette garden roses and all the gorgeous ranunculus!  Working with Jenn at Pearl Events, Cory Ryan Photography and Canyonwood Ridge allowed us to create a  great day for J+ D!

Bouquet of blush flowers.

Winter wedding filled with blush blooms and greenery

Lush blush blooms and miles of smilax greenery helped us bring this gorgeous brides vision to reality.  A perfect blush wedding gown  and an absolutely gorgeous February afternoon allowed the flowers to take center stage.  We headed out to Ma Maison, with Pearl Events to design one of our favorite 2016 events.  Some of the details included beautiful crystal candelabras,  a gorgeous head table and the staircase draped in smilax.  All the small details helped make this event near perfect- the olive branches at each place setting and the fragrant garden roses were some of the favorites.

Burgandy, fuchsia and teal bridesmaids flowers

Jewel tones at Sacred Oaks.

Fall weddings….they can go in many directions.  We were thrilled when this bride decided to go a little different route, instead of the traditional fall palette, she chose rich, jewel toned flowers set against long, flowy teal bridesmaids gowns.  The rich jewel tone palette was the driving force behind all the decor and floral elements.  The outdoor ceremony took place under the gorgeous canopy of Sacred Oaks at Camp Lucy.  The reception followed inside the hall, which was beautifully draped by Unique Designs.  There were so many details. From the garland embellished welcome sign, to the beautiful custom invitations and escort cards- the guests were treated to sitting areas created with gorgeous furniture from Loot Vintage Rentals. Some of my favorite floral elements included the native Texas smilax covering chandelier, the organic clusters of foliages on the chairs at the ceremony and of course the rich, jewel toned blooms on the tables. Garden roses, ranunucla, lisianthus and dahlias made up most of the blooms, with mixed greens of bay, olive and eucalyptus.  These gorgeous images were captured by Christina Carroll Photography, the planning by  and some of the rentals provided by Whim hospitality.
