We love a spring wedding bursting with color. When we hear, I love color, we get giddy with the possibilities. Add in a little Texas flair , the gorgeous new venue, Canyonwood Ridge and it is a feast for your eyes! We particularly loved the amazing coral peonies, the lush juliette garden roses and all the gorgeous ranunculus! Working with Jenn at Pearl Events, Cory Ryan Photography and Canyonwood Ridge allowed us to create a great day for J+ D!
Lush blush blooms and miles of smilax greenery helped us bring this gorgeous brides vision to reality. A perfect blush wedding gown and an absolutely gorgeous February afternoon allowed the flowers to take center stage. We headed out to Ma Maison, with Pearl Events to design one of our favorite 2016 events. Some of the details included beautiful crystal candelabras, a gorgeous head table and the staircase draped in smilax. All the small details helped make this event near perfect- the olive branches at each place setting and the fragrant garden roses were some of the favorites.
Fall weddings….they can go in many directions. We were thrilled when this bride decided to go a little different route, instead of the traditional fall palette, she chose rich, jewel toned flowers set against long, flowy teal bridesmaids gowns. The rich jewel tone palette was the driving force behind all the decor and floral elements. The outdoor ceremony took place under the gorgeous canopy of Sacred Oaks at Camp Lucy. The reception followed inside the hall, which was beautifully draped by Unique Designs. There were so many details. From the garland embellished welcome sign, to the beautiful custom invitations and escort cards- the guests were treated to sitting areas created with gorgeous furniture from Loot Vintage Rentals. Some of my favorite floral elements included the native Texas smilax covering chandelier, the organic clusters of foliages on the chairs at the ceremony and of course the rich, jewel toned blooms on the tables. Garden roses, ranunucla, lisianthus and dahlias made up most of the blooms, with mixed greens of bay, olive and eucalyptus. These gorgeous images were captured by Christina Carroll Photography, the planning by and some of the rentals provided by Whim hospitality.
Peonies! Outdoor ceremony! Classic Bride! Gorgeous details!
All of these things add up to a pretty, floral filled outdoor wedding at Villa Del Lago! Add in, the bride and her sister are behind The Chic Burrow blog and you know it will be a style filled event. The absolute highest complement we can receive is when a family asks us to work on another daughters wedding! Thank you for trusting us x2. Outdoor weddings present their own set of challenges- weather. Luckily for us, the weather broke on Saturday morning to provide a gorgeous, warm afternoon. With the guidance of Pearl Events, the delicious food from Austin catering and these stunning images from SMS photography, it was a rock solid vendor team. Now, to the floral details- peonies and blush garden roses took center stage in the bouquets and willow arch. Our favorite elements were the sign in table featuring natural elements of grape wood, mosses, succulents and tillandsias and the seating assignment frame covered in the same organic elements. Enjoy! and congratulations to Haley and Winston!
Summer weddings…we tend to see a little more color in our summer events. I loved the bridesmaids in various shades of purples with the softer toned flowers. The cascading ribbons added a little boho flair to it. A few gold details in the mix, dapper groom and groomsman and a simple, gorgeous wedding to enjoy! Austin, Texas is filled with iconic spaces. Last winter we headed over to two of our favorites, Central Christian Church and The Driskill Hotel. The church is unassuming from the outside but absolutely beautiful on the inside. Located just a few blocks away from the Texas State Capitol it has had its share of high profile members. For this winter wedding, an all white floral palette was accented by hints of sparkles ( see bridesmaids dresses.) It also included a few of my favorite details, doors embellished with floral monograms, adorable flower girls, floral and candle details on the hotel chandeliers and the most popular exit, fresh rose petals. Every moment captured by Christina Carroll Photography and professionally planned by Pearl Events.
Summer weddings. This gorgeous wedding took place in The Vistas Ballroom at Lakeway Resort and Spa. Overlooking Lake Travis, without being in the hot Texas sun! We designed and constructed a gorgeous arbor with fabric draping and floral details for the ceremony, after the ceremony, it became the backdrop for the cake.
It was filled with shades of blush and lush seasonal blooms. Gold accents, candles and petals helped round out the floral details.

I am excited to introduce to you to our team at Bouquets of Austin!
2016 is a big year for us–we will be celebrating our 2o year anniversary in the Austin wedding and events industry! How did that happen? Seems like yesterday that I designed my first Austin wedding! Over the next few weeks you will be meeting my amazing and talented team that brings all of the crazy, gorgeous events to life!
Richelle Nash. ( Who by the way, is celebrating her 3 year anniversary with us today!) We found her, she found us? on craigslist! We hired her and the rest is history. She brings the ying to my yang- is the designer behind almost all of the centerpiece and tablescapes, is the resident primper ( on all the setups, needs to fluff one more bloom, adjust one more candle!) Will use every.single. flower assigned to an event, no bloom left behind and all around makes gorgeous for us.
3 things you should know about Richelle-
Never met a box/bottle of red wine that she didn’t like.
Is the mom to two miniature Italian greyhounds, Petals and Blossom.
Is the resident bartender during BOA happy hours.
A romantic winter wedding. Maybe its the early sunsets, the use of candles or the soft pastel tones that make winter weddings feel just a little more romantic.
This one was of my favorites from 2015. Soft pastel roses, hints of dusty miller and the floral embellished cross.

Fall weddings come in many shapes and sizes. In Austin,Tx hopefully the weather has begun to cool down ( you know less than 100 degrees)- and starts to make it comfortable for outdoor events. This one was one of our most vibrant and colorful events of the season. I enjoyed working with this adorable couple and their entire family. Enjoy the photos provided by CarolineplusBen. Thanks to Jaymie, a former bride, for the connection and to Loot Vintage for providing some great accent pieces.
