Our Brazos Hall bride had extra eclectic tastes last spring. There was a balancing act of tropical leaves, succulents and tillandsias, which are one of our favorites, against the urban feel of the space. The vibrant greens against the dusty green of these airplants proved to be easy on the eyes and a welcome change-up from our more classic palettes. Among many cool elements to this affair were the suspended arrangement boxes that hung above the head table in the center of the reception hall. They are fun to look at and we are always game to accept an engineering challenge. For boutonnieres, the couple opted for a bit more traditional ranuncula bloom, but the groom donned the world’s tiniest tilandsia bout. There were tall greenery arrangements with hints of hot pink and lower centerpieces utilizing some of our grape wood that make for great conversation pieces. This bride pushed the envelope and we enjoyed pushing it with her.
