Modern reception at The Four Seasons, Austin TX

The Four Seasons, Austin is one of our favorite reception venues. It provided a great backdrop for this modern reception. Our bride and groom had their ceremony at St. Mary’s Cathedral and then headed to the Four Seasons. They had a fun, interactive cocktail hour on the lawn with a Ring for Champagne wall. They, then transitioned to a modern, all-white reception inside the ballroom.

Our bride chose modern, all-white florals to compliment the peacock blue bridesmaids gowns. The main floral element was calla lilies. She loved lilies of all types! We included Casablanca lilies with both standard and miniature calla lilies.

We custom-designed and built the “Ring For Champagne” wall. It debuted at this reception but has found its way to many other events over the last 2 years. White gloved servers present cold glasses of bubbly once the bell has been rung! It never disappoints.

The flowers were kept in a mostly mono botanical design- one type of flower per arrangement. A lot of calla lilies, tulips, orchids, stock and were included- side note, no roses. The reception featured tall centerpieces of calla lilies, low centerpieces with candles and tulips. The head table was a combination of both types of centerpieces with a few really fun details.
