Ranch Wedding in Texas with classic details
Rainy Day Ranch Wedding in Texas.
Ranch weddings in Texas can be some of our most gorgeous or most challenging, or in this case, both!
Our team headed out to Round Top, Texas for a wedding on a private family ranch. The original plan included a ceremony under a heritage family tree. The bride’s father was building a custom platform and had tended to the landscape to create a spectacular ceremony location. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had a different idea. With spring outdoor weddings or any outdoor wedding, the rain decided to make an appearance.

Rainy day- sunny smiles.
The Ceremony.
Lucky for us, the property had an amazing real-life barn that was converted to the ceremony space. With a little added draping and hanging floral installation we were ready for a ceremony. This Texas ranch wedding was happening!
The reception.
With the rain holding off, cocktails and appetizers were served under the big Texas sky. Each cocktail table was perched on a vintage rug, tied with eucalyptus and topped off with succulents and candles. Just as the sun was setting, the guests moved into the Sperry tent. The tent had always been in the plan. It featured yards and yards of eucalyptus garlands, elevated structures on the head table, and lush floral centerpieces. We love when brides and grooms incorporate their unique personalities- the deer antlers were a sweet nod to the groom’s love of hunting. Pies became the “groom’s cake” and a custom beer bar served the cold draft beer!
This Texas ranch wedding ended with an amazing flutterfetti exit!
