Winter Hill Country Wedding at Ma Maison
Ma Maison hosted this outdoor winter wedding!
Yes, winter weddings can take place outdoors.
The Texas Hill Country can have mild winters. Take this February day, a chamber of commerce day. Sunny, 70 degrees with near-perfect lighting. The wedding featured blush blooms, mix and match bridesmaids gowns in shades of blush and mauve and lush foliages.
Wedding Party.
Bridesmaids wore mix and match gowns in different shades of blush and mauve. They carried bouquets similar to the bride, just smaller with lush open blooms and a touch of greenery. The flower girl handed out single blooms to guests at the ceremony.
The Ceremony.
Ma Maison’s grove set the stage for this winter wedding ceremony. It was dressed with an abundance of blush and white blooms and greenery. It also included a cross and an assortment of wooden stumps. Elegant rustic was our theme of the day. The wine barrels at the entrance also featured lush winter bouquets.
The Reception.
Ma Maison has a gorgeous Main Hall for the reception. With lots of dark green winter foliage and lush flowers, the room transformed into a floral wonderland. Tables either featured tall crystal candelabra or low, conversational florals. The staircase has cascading smilax and rose blooms to soften up the stone walls. The head table was long farm tables with a combination of tall and low florals. One of our favorite details, the details on the bride and groom’s chairs, ribbons, and flowers!
