Spring Blooms at Woodbine Mansion
Spring weddings.
It is one of the busiest seasons in the wedding world. This simple, floral-filled spring ceremony and reception took place at one of our favorite venues, Woodbine Mansion.
The ceremony took place on the west lawn under the wisteria vines. We added simple sheer drapes with floral arrangements at both the aisle entrance and the ceremony location. They were repurposed into the reception during cocktail hour. One of the bride’s favorite and most sentimental flowers- lavender lilac was used in all of the floral pieces. We were not sure that we could resource this very seasonal bloom, so we were excited to present it to her, we know she was absolutely thrilled!!
With a smaller guest count, under 100 guests, they were able to host this spring reception inside of the mansion. But, first they encouraged guests to cocktail and participate in lawn games on the east lawn. The indoor reception was filled with lovely spring blooms, featuring both tall, elegant and low, lush floral centerpieces. We loved seeing the interior of the Mansion dressed up for this spring reception.
