Woodbine Mansion – A Romantic Winter Wedding

Winter weddings at Woodbine Mansion possess a certain romance that is hard to replicate at any other venue.  Woodbine Mansion is a historic gem nestled in the heart of downtown Round Rock, Texas. Woodbine Mansion, with its elegant architecture and rich history, served as the perfect backdrop for this romantic winter wonderland wedding. The stately mansion, with its manicured lawns and clear winter tent, provided an enchanting setting for the outdoor winter ceremony and reception.

THE CEREMONY

At the end of the continuous aisle garden stands a breathtaking floral arch. Lush greenery, seasonal blooms, and a touch of wintry magic transformed this arch into a mesmerizing focal point. The couple exchanged their vows beneath this magnificent structure, adding an extra layer of beauty to their ceremony.  The arch was designed attached to the mansion’s pillar on the west lawn.  The spacing provides the perfect backdrop, but unfortunately, they can not be repurposed after the ceremony.

The Tent: The reception area, enclosed within a spacious clear tent, offers a blank canvas for creating an atmosphere of intimacy and warmth.  Crystal chandeliers, a custom dancefloor, and draping added the right amount of elegance for this winter wedding reception. The canopy provides shelter while still allowing guests to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding outdoor scenery.

 

Elegant Centerpieces: Tables are adorned with elegant centerpieces featuring an abundance of candles in varying heights and styles. Interspersed among lush floral arrangements and delicate greenery, the candles create a stunning focal point, drawing guests’ eyes and adding a touch of sophistication to the decor.

A tented reception filled with candles is more than just a gathering—it’s an experience, a journey into a world of glowing elegance and timeless romance. Whether nestled in a garden, by the beach, or beneath a canopy of trees, this enchanting setting creates the perfect backdrop for a celebration of love that shines as brightly as the candles themselves.
