Hotel Ella Sparkling Spring Wedding
Let’s Talk about this Sparkly Spring wedding at Hotel Ella!
We kicked off our spring wedding season with a fun, stylish celebration at Hotel Ella! Every detail reflected the couple’s personality, from the warm color palette to the playful disco ball accents.
One of our favorite design features was the suspended disco ball installation above the dance floor. In more than 25 years of designing weddings, we had never created a hanging disco installation before at Hotel Ella . We have a feeling this won’t be our last! It brought just the right amount of sparkle while perfectly complementing the elegant atmosphere of the day.
Although the wedding took place in the spring, our bride chose a warm palette of terracotta, peach, blush, and lush green foliage. We loved how those rich tones created a fresh, modern design that felt both welcoming and sophisticated.
For the ceremony, we designed traditional altar arrangements and lush aislegardens that framed the couple as they exchanged vows. After the ceremony, our team carefully moved those floral pieces into the reception space, giving them a beautiful second life. We always discuss floral repurposing with our couples because every wedding is different. While relocating arrangements requires an additional fee, repurposing often stretches the floral budget and creates a bigger impact throughout the celebration. Sometimes we even recommend simplifying the ceremony so you can invest more heavily in the reception. With more than 25 years of experience designing weddings across Austin, we help our couples make those decisions with confidence.
The sparkle didn’t stop there. We loved the custom seating display featuring a personalized disco ball that welcomed guests into the reception. Then, as the evening unfolded, the suspended disco installation transformed the dance floor into the perfect place to celebrate.
And if those head table arrangements look familiar, you’re absolutely right! We first designed them for the ceremony, then repurposed them to frame the sweetheart table at the reception. It’s one of our favorite ways to create a cohesive wedding design while making every floral investment work a little harder.
